8th Radio of Latvia and Television new performers contest "New Stars"

8th Radio of Latvia and Television new performers contest "New Stars" is making a significant contribution of cultural life in Jurmala and Latvia, and , gaining wide publicity in the Latvian press and TV.

2009 contest is dedicated to Latvia's newest pop-music. In the competition jury and guests will be such a popular artists as Renars Kaupers, Eddie Martin, Lauri Reiniks, Liene Šomase, Guntars Račs, Normunds Rutulis, Intars Busulis, Andris Erglis, Feliks Ķiģelis, as well as journalists and music professionals.

Winners will receive a traditional Memorial Prize and the opportunity to study in the Latvian Culture College's budget group.
